FIRE, police and ambulance crews were called to a car accident in Severn Beach early on Saturday morning.
The incident, on the A403 Severn Road, involved one car and an electricity pole.
It happened at 6.48am. One person was injured but was out of the vehicle by the time emergency services arrived at the scene.
A spokesman for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said three appliances from Avonmouth attended.
“One casualty was released prior to the arrival of the fire crew service and was treated by ambulance crews,” he said. “We awaited the electricity board to make safe the electricity pole itself."
