FIRE crews were called to a caravan which is believed to have been set ablaze in Pilning.
Firefighters found the caravan well alight, alongside burning bags of rubbish, on Station Road at 8.47pm last night (Monday, March 24).
They used a high pressure hose reel and two firefighters wore breathing apparatus to put out the flames.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesman James Bladon said the caravan was severely damaged and the burning rubbish had caused significant smoke damage.
He added: “The fire is believed to be deliberate and police have been notified.
“We had no reports of any injuries in the incident.”
