THORNBURY'S sea cadets unit needs a new chairman or woman at the helm.
The youth organisation has its base in Gloucester Road and meets twice a week, as well as offering weekend training, courses and visits, as well as weeks away to camps and courses.
Its chairman will run regular meetings, help raise funds, monitor financial accounts and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to comply with relevant charity law. Anyone interested should contact Thornbury Volunteer Centre by emailing mail@volunteer-thornbury.co.uk or phoning 01454 413392.
