POLICE are looking to speak to the owner of a dog who attacked a cocker spaniel in Cam.

The incident happened in Jubilee Gardens on Jubilee Avenue on Tuesday April 1 at around 6.30pm when the owner of the spaniel was walking her dog when she stopped at a bin.

A t that place two weimaraners were standing with their owner.

The owner of the spaniel allowed the dog to interact with the weimaraners but then one of the weimaraners attacked the spaniel, causing broken ribs and a wound to the abdomen and ear, which required medical treatment.

The owner of the offending dog is described as white and aged between 45 and 50. He had short, dark hair, a big dark moustache and was wearing a dark coloured flat cap or baseball cap and dark clothing and spoke with a northern accent.

The owner of the Weimaraners or anyone who may know him is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, qhoting incident number 270 of April 2.
