POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a racist verbal attack in Yate Shopping Centre.

They are investigating an incident in East Walk at around 8.30am on Thursday, April 3.

Racially abusive language was used in the altercation between two men near a Poundland shop.

Is it believed that there were other people in the area at the time Avon and Somerset Police are asking any witnesses who may have information which could help with their inquiries to come forward.
