A LORRY caught fire on the southbound carriageway of the M5 between junctions 11 and 12.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of the fire at 3.37am on Friday, April 11, and sent fire engines from Gloucester Cheltenham East fire stations a total of 15 fire-fighters to deal with the incident.
After crews located the fire, they confirmed the trailer of the lorry was well alight.
Fire-fighters remained on scene for over an hour and used on hose reel and two breathing apparatus.
No one was hurt and the cause of the fire was not suspicious, however the trailer was severely damaged as a result.
