A 22-year-old man, whose car collided with a telegraph pole on the A38 on April 23 sadly died yesterday evening at about 11pm.
The man passed away in Frenchay Hospital after suffering head injuries when the car he was travelling in, a red Renault Clio, left the carriageway as it was travelling towards the M50 in Twyning.
Aged 22 and from Tewkesbury, he was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital before being transferred to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
A 20-year-old man from Tewkesbury also in the car suffered minor injuries.
The Coroner's Office is being informed.
Anyone who witnessed the collision who hasn't spoken to police is urged to call 101, quoting incident 35 of April 23.
