A MASSIVE wind turbine is set to be considered for installation at Sharpness Docks.
Stroud District Council’s development committee will be considering a planning application for a turbine potentially 122m high on Bridge Road, along with a new access track from the docks.
The application is being made by the dock owners themselves, and is expected to last 25 years once it starts electricity and will then be dismantled.
The public meeting deciding its fate will be held at Ebley Mill in Stroud on Tuesday, May 13 from 6pm.
