POLICE have seized a number of suspected cannabis plants and arrested three men at a house in Severn Beach.
Officers were patrolling in the area at about 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday, May 8) in response to community concerns, when they came across three men acting suspiciously.
They found 70 small plants, believed to be cannabis, growing in an upstairs room of the property and evidence of plants having been grown in other rooms.
Three men were arrested at the scene and remain in police custody today Friday, May 9.
DS Jason Hulbert, from the South Gloucestershire Priority Crime Team, said: “I’d encourage anyone who has concerns about criminal activity in their neighbourhood to get in touch with us through our website, www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/contact or by calling us on 101.
