POLICE have launched an investigation after a man was threatened with a knife in Staple Hill.
The robbery happened at around 7.15pm on Monday, April 28 as a man walked through Page Park.
Three men approached the victim from inside the clock tower and one held up a knife and demanded money.
A police spokesman said: "At this point a man walking a Doberman-type dog approached them and the three men ran off towards the band stand.
"The victim has described the men as white and wearing hooded tops.
"The robbery was reported to police and an investigation has begun to identify the three men involved. We’d also like to speak to dog-walker who disturbed the robbers."
