LONDON mayor Boris Johnson wasn’t at all sheepish when he was tasked with shearing a sheep in front of a room full of people.

The London mayor was visiting the brand new Lister Shearing factory at Stroudwater Business Park in Stonehouse earlier today, Tuesday.

Ewe wouldn't believe that it was his first time as he used the company's award winning shears to take off the animal’s wooly coat.

According to Boris the shearers were so smooth that it felt like 'knife through butter'.

Lister Shearing is relocating from Dursley to Stonehouse next month.

Earlier in the day he had spent time in Gloucester and Cheltenham.
