POLICE are seeking information to help them identify a woman who was found unconscious on a pavement in Stroud last night.

The lady, who is in her 70s, was found collapsed in Hunters Way, Cashes Green at 9.30 pm last night, Sunday, suffering from facial injuries.

She was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The lady is described as having short, curly brown hair, brown eyes, of slim build, 5ft 2ins tall, and wearing both engagement and wedding rings.

Anyone who believes they know her identity is asked to contact the police as soon as possible, quoting incident number 435 of Sunday May 18.
