TWO lanes of the M5 Southbound are closed between Thornbury and Stroud due to an overturned horsebox.

Traffic is queueing between junction 13 at Stroud (1419) and junction 14 for Thornbury and Falfield (B4059).

Police are directing traffic and emergency services are in attendance.

A horsebox has overturned near the Michaelwood services.

Travel time is said to be between 30 and 45 minutes.

The whole road was initially closed but at 4.50pm traffic was released into one of the three motorway lanes.
