WORK is taking place to resurface the sliproads at junction 14 of the M5 at Falfield.
The work is involving night time closures of the north and southbound sliproads and is due to be completed by 6am on Tuesday, July 8.
Drivers are being diverted between 8pm and 6am on the days when the resurfacing teams are on site but the Highways Agency said there would be no closures on Saturday or Sunday, July 5 and 6.
Dave Sanderson, of the Highways Agency, said: "The resurfacing work is part of the government’s commitment to maintaining England’s roads and will ensure smoother journeys and maintain safety.
“The work has been planned to minimise disruption and that is why work is taking place overnight when traffic flows are lowest. During the work it will be necessary to close the entry and exit slip roads and lane one of the M5 at different times but drivers will be able to continue their journeys by following a clearly signed diversion route.”
