A MAN has been found dead in a home in Dursley after a number of emergency vehicles responded to a 999 call.
Police and several ambulances arrived at the property on Long Street on Saturday, June 28 at around 2pm and found a 44-year-old man unconscious and not breathing.
A South Western Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We sent a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances but unfortunately the patient was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
A Gloucestershire police spokesman added that the coroner had been informed and they were currently investigating the death, which was being treated as non-suspicious.
Gloucestershire Coroners said formal identification had not yet taken place and were expecting to meet with the bereaved family members on Thursday.
