POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a road rage incident involving a driving instructor's car.

It happened on the A4174 Avon Ring Road, between Station Road in Filton and Shield Retail Park, at 9.15am on Friday, June 27.

A police spokesman said: "It involved a dispute between the drivers of a white recovery truck and a driving tuition vehicle, and it is alleged threats were made.

"Police believe the incident may have been witnessed by members of the public and are appealing for anyone who saw anything to please contact us."

Anyone who saw the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference 64993/14 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
