POLICE have launched an urgent appeal for information after a man was threatened with a knife during an aggravated burglary in Chipping Sodbury.

The victim was threatened with a stanley knife in a house on Frome Road.

It happened at 4.30pm on Thursday (July 31) when three men entered the home on Frome Road and threatened the man before stealing cash, an iPad and a laptop.

Police said all three offenders were wearing latex gloves.

A spokesman added: "One is described as a black man, around six feet tall and between 18 and 30 years old, with an athletic build and very short black hair. He was wearing black clothing.

"The other two men were thinner with lighter skin and one was wearing a camouflage jacket. A fourth man wearing a baseball cap was seen loitering in the road.

"Anyone who saw the men in the area, or has information about the burglary, should contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101 and quote 78481/14."
