THE POLICE have released images of an elderly man that they would like to speak to in relation to the theft of a wallet from a garden centre.
The wallet and its contents were taken from Highfield Garden World on the A38 at Whitminster between 1.45pm and 2pm on Wednesday, May 21.
The owner of the wallet has left it on the counter after paying for goods in the store. The offender has then picked up the wallet and handed it into a member of staff, however it is believed that the offender had removed around £100 cash before handing it in.
The offender is described as white, male and between 60 and 70 years old.
He is around 5’5”-5’10” tall, of medium build with white hair.
He was wearing a purple or lilac coloured shirt and dark trousers.
Anyone who may recognise the images are asked to contact Gloucestershire Police quoting crime number 12323/14.
