THORNBURY’S latest food fair was a massive success as the crowds poured on to the streets in the town.
The food fairs are hosted in the town four times a year and celebrate the best of local producers.
Castle Street was closed as about 50 stallholders set up along the roadside on Saturday.
The food fairs are organised by Thornbury Chamber of Commerce to promote the businesses in and around Thornbury.
Chairman of the chamber of commerce, Rowena Moncrieffe, said that the day was a success.
She said: “The food fair went really well. Things were a bit slower to start than usual but once things got going it was great.
“The food fairs are a great thing for the community, but they also bring extra footfall in to the town and are a very good thing for businesses in Thornbury."
Plans are already underway for the bigger Christmas festival, which includes gift stalls as well as food.
