FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a house fire in Whitminster.
At about 9.10pm the service received the first of several fires regarding a fire in a home.
Two fire engines from Stroud Fire Station and Gloucester South Community Fire Station, with a total of nine firefighters, were mobilised.
On arrival, the crews used one hosereel and two pieces of breathing apparatus to help put out the fire.
The incident was under control by 10pm. Both fire engines had departed the area by 10.25pm.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire though it is not being regarded as suspicious.
