A COLLECTION of some 200 nativity cribs will be on display in Chipping Sodbury when the town hosts a five-day festival
in St John's Church.
Last year's event attracted about 4,500 visitors and it is expected a similar number will visit the town to see the traditional and contemporary cribs this December.
Arts and crafts from around the world will also be on show during the exhibition.
This year's event will have an angels theme, with cribs loaned from South America, south east Asia, Greece and many parts of the UK, including a feature display from Salisbury cathedral.
The Bishop of Tewkesbury, the Right Reverend Martyn Snow, will open the festival at a VIP reception on the evening of December 2, with the public viewing running from Wednesday, December 3, to Sunday, December 7.
