A BEGINNER’S beekeeping class is to kick off in the new year.
Sessions will be held at Alveston Methodist Church Hall every Monday night from January 5.
The course, which will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm right up until March 9, will cover all aspects of the British Beekeeper’s Association ‘basic’ examination syllabus.
The sessions, suitable for complete beginners, will begin with 10 classes focussing on theory, followed by two practical lessons.
The cost of the course is £120, which includes course notes, a text book and refreshments, plus help and advice to get you on your way.
