Daniel Harding will play violin for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, it was revealed as they announced their 2015 line-up.

Daniel, who has played the violin for 8 years, auditioned for the NYO this October and has been accepted to play with the 2015 orchestra.

He is thrilled to be playing with the orchestra after previously working with the National Children’s Orchestra.

He said: “ It will be amazing opportunity to work with the top orchestra for young people in Great Britain of similar age and musical passion.”

Daniel won a government music scholarship to attend Wells Cathedral School as a Specialist Musician in September 2014 having previously attended Marling School in Stroud.
