A WHOLE lot of shaking will be going on at Stroud’s Bar Greyhound this New Year’s Eve.
Rock around the clock to midnight and beyond at the Gloucester Street bar’s rock and roll party from 10pm.
Music comes courtesy of the Rhythm Slingers, a trio featuring Tim Smith on guitar and lead vocals, Joe Wise on bass and Ollie White on drums and backing vocals.
“We are all from Stroud and have been close friends since the start of secondary school,” said Tim.
“We started off about two years ago as Tim and The Small Town Country Band, playing a wide range of styles, anything we liked really, from jazz to country, old R&B to pop music. We like to play music that gets people moving and having fun.”
Dressing up in 50s and 60s-style fancy dress for the evening is encouraged.
