KILLER Mark Stoner-Seed has absconded from Leyhill Open Prison.
Stoner-Seed, 52, had been released on temporary licence in the Bristol area on Friday, January 23, but failed to return to the prison, near Thornbury, at the designated time.
Bald headed Stoner-Seed was serving a life sentence for murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and arson with intent.
Police have warned people not to approach the prisoner but asked anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts to contact them on the 101 number and quote the crime reference number G8061/15.
Stoner-Seed is white, has blue eyes, is approximately 5ft 7ins tall and of large build.
Police have issued a picture of Stoner-Seed, together with images of him captured on the day he was last seen.
