AMBERLEY-based artist Mike Dawson is holding his debut exhibition at Star Anise Cafe in Stroud.
Mike completed an access course at Stroud College in 2013 after returning to education for the first time in 50 years.
Since completing the course, Mike has continued making sketches of the world around him.
The show features drawings rendered during the last couple of years, and includes views from family holidays, in Australia and Bardsey Island, and scenes of home life in Amberley.
Though mainly in pencil, many introduce small amounts of colour as well as an interesting use of Tipp-Ex. The exhibition continues at the Star Anise Cafe until this Saturday.
