FUN activities to keep children entertained over the Easter holidays are on offer in libraries around South Gloucestershire.

South Gloucestershire Council is providing free drop-in story-times, rhyme-times and craft sessions for four to 11-year-olds.

There are also free pre-school story times and rhyme times taking place in libraries throughout the holiday for younger children.

The events, starting today, are:

Monday, March 30

Easter eggstravaganza craft fun at Bradley Stoke Library from 10.30am to 12pm.
 

Eggstra-special crafts for Easter - Easter themed craft fun at Cadbury Heath Library from 10.30am to 11.30am.
 

Tuesday, March 31

Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep bird themed crafts at Patchway Library from 10am to 11.30am.
 

Spring crafts fun at Yate Library from 10.30am to 12pm.
 

Cracking crafts fun at Staple Hill Library from 10.30am to 12pm.
 

Flower power craft fun at Emersons Green Library from 2pm to 4pm.
 

Wednesday, April 1

Spring has sprung craft fun at Winterbourne Library from 10am to 11.30am.
 

Easter eggstravaganza crafts at Thornbury Library from 11am to 12pm.

Easter eggstravaganza - activities, crafts and fun with an Easter theme at Downend Library from 10am to 11.30am.

Horrid Henry creative writing workshop - Creative writing workshop, most suitable for children aged seven to nine-years-old. Workshops are free but places are limited so contact your library to book a space at Yate Library from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
