A FIRE and rescue crew was called to a chimney fire in Leighterton.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the chimney fire in Whitewater road at 10:29am yesterday morning.
A crew from Tetbury Community Fire Station was mobilised to the incident.
The crew was on scene for approximately one hour dealing with the incident.
Due to increased popularity of solid fuel heating, Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service attends a significant number of chimney fires every year.
