A FIRE which broke out in a block of flats in Cam is being investigated by Gloucestershire Police.
The fire started in the halls of a block of flats in Leaside Close, Cam, on Friday evening, beginning outside the front door of one of the residents.
The flat in question belongs to Ryan Purland, 32, who was not in at the time of the blaze.
The Gazette understands that one woman in the block was trapped in her flat and had to be rescued by fire crews in an operation which lasted about four hours.
