A WITNESS appeal to identify two men has been launched by the police following a theft from Southmead Hospital.

The police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying two men they believe may have information about a theft which took place at the hospital at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, March 31.

Two men entered the hospital ward, where they distracted a woman and stole her handbag. They then stole cash from her bank account.

The police have released CCTV footage of two men that may be able to help with their enquiries and would like anyone who recognises the men shown in the footage or has any information about the incident to contact them.
