A PRIVATELY-OWNED company based in Yate has been awarded the UK’s highest accolade for business success, made by HM The Queen.


Narrow web ink and varnish manufacturer, Pulse Roll Label Products Ltd was named the winner of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise on Tuesday, April 21, for International Trade in recognition of outstanding growth in overseas earnings over a period of three years.


The company, which employs 35 people at its base on Lawrence Drive received the award which is made by HM The Queen, given for the highest levels of excellence.


The company is celebrating being given one of approximately 140 Queen’s Awards which have been announced this year for outstanding business achievement in the fields of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.

The company, which has been supplying inks and varnishes since 2001 and provides its products in more than 50 countries, will celebrate fourteen years in business at the end of May.


Winners of The Queen’s Awards can expect an invitation to attend a special reception at Buckingham Palace in July and are eligible to use The Queen’s Award Emblem in advertising, marketing and on packaging for a period of five years as a symbol of their quality and success.
