PHOTOS of an extremely rare bike that was stolen just outside Stroud District Council chambers have been released by Gloucestershire Police.

The bike, designed for a rider over 6ft 6ins, was stolen shortly before 1pm on Tuesday when the offender cut through the ‘D’ bike-lock and made off with the bike.

This bike is a ‘Muddy Fox’ mountain bike. The frame is a Turner 5 spot ‘Sasquatch’ and is black in colour, with no gears. There are only a few of its kind in the country and it is an expensive model.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 6ft 2ins, with facial hair, wearing a hooded jacket with red arms, jeans, and with a rucksack on his back.

The photos show the actual bike being ridden and another very similar bike.

Anyone who has information about this theft, or recognises the attached photos, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 229 of April 28 and crime reference CR/9462/15.
