THE Just 3 Harmony Trio are touring the tea rooms of the land, checking out the tea and cake on offer, and singing as they go.

Their 13 date tour, which takes in Brecon, London and Taunton, calls in at Nailsworth on Friday afternoon.

The band features two tutors from the Music and Performing Arts course at SGS College Stroud Campus - Sean Snook (guitar and vocals) and Michaela Fedeczko (vocals and percussion) - plus Lydia Cook (vocals and percussion).

Just 3 have been going since 2006 and, as well as the usual gigging circuit, peform at weddings, corporate events and festivals such as the Bristol Harbourside Festival. “The Tea Room Tour is a creative venture we have come up with, aiming to play in as many tea rooms around the UK as we can in May,” said Sean.

“We will be travelling to a great selection of independent cafes, entertaining their customers with our sweet, soulful sound to compliment the afternoon tea experience.

“Each tea room will receive a review on our blog and social media sites.

“We all love tea and cake, but I should imagine by the end of the tour we will be sick of it and will have gained some weight!”

Just 3 Harmony play at The Canteen Nailsworth , Friday, from 1pm to 3pm. They will be returning to the area later in the month, with a set at the Lavender Bakehouse in Chalford, on May 26, from 1pm and 4pm.
