POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 50 year old man was assaulted in Stoney’s Restaurant, Castle Street, Cirencester, on Saturday 20 June.
He was on the dance floor with a friend between 11 – 11.30 pm, when he received a slap to his head, and was then punched several times in the face, receiving a broken jaw, by one or possibly two males. The offenders then left the scene.
Since the assault occurred on a busy dance floor, police believe it must have been seen by others, and would like any witnesses or others with information to come forward.
Please call 101 quoting Incident 86 of 22 June or crime number CR/14283/15.
