A POLICE appeal for information has been launched after a mobility scooter was set on fire in Stroud.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, at around 4.30am, it is believed that a mobility scooter was deliberately set on fire outside a property in Bisley Old Road, which in turn set the property alight causing damage.
Fortunately a neighbour heard a loud bang, saw the flames and woke up the occupants of the property which included two young children.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or who has further information.
