MARTY O’Reilly and the Old Soul Orchestra are set to bring their blend of trance-based blues music to the Convent this week.
Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, the group ‘s sound harkens back to John Lee Hooker and Howlin’ Wolf, with a drunken minor swing comparable to some of Tom Waits’ darker works.
Catch them at the Woodchester venue on Thursday at 9pm.
