DAN Huxstep produced a sensational feat for Frampton-on-Severn in their Gloucestershire County League Division One home clash with Redmarley on Saturday.
Huxstep had a fantastic day and finished with bowling figures of 6-15 – however, that was only half the story.
For Huxstep took a hat-trick when Frampton were looking as though they would lose to Redmarley.
Redmarley had looked to be easing their way to victory as they cruised towards the Frampton total – but then came up against the devastating second spell from Huxstep.
It seemed like Redmarley had plenty in hand despite losing skipper Rob Gummer for 21 to the Frampton wizard, but when Huxstep caught and bowled Joe Lawrence with the next ball, it left just the tail enders.
Tom Warren took two more wickets in the next over, before Huxstep bowled out the next man to complete his hat-trick, finishing it off with another wicket to send Redmarley crashing to an incredible defeat.
