STROUD artist Rachel Markwick is putting her stamp on a Stroud pub.
Rachel, whose artworks have gained her the title of "The Stamp Lady of Stroud", will be showing her latest collection of postage stamp collage pictures at the Amberley Inn, Amberley, from September 2 to October 31.
Entitled Stamping Ground, the exhibition will feature recent work, including a series of intricate posies, with each flower painstakingly cut from postage stamps from around the world.
Visitors to the show will also be able to see prints of ships, flags, landmarks and hearts.
Rachel's work is in collections in Australia, Canada, Italy and the USA, and her designs have recently been used on a range of decorative gift-ware for a chain of shops in Japan.
Stamping Ground will be at the Amberley Inn, open daily 10am to 9pm, from September 2 to October 31.
