GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police have confirmed that there have been further arrests following the death of Dolton Powell in Gloucester near the All Nations Community Centre, Chase Lane, Gloucester on 23 August 2015 in the early hours of the morning. 

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Steve Porter said:

“This afternoon we arrested three men from Bristol on suspicion of murder.  Two are aged 19 and one is 18. We now have five males in custody – all from Bristol who are being questioned by officers.

We are continuing to investigate the exact sequence of events that took place when Dolton Powell was killed and we are now appealing for information regarding two vehicles.  We believe both are Vauxhall Corsas – one is dark in colour and the other a light colour.  These cars were seen leaving the area of the incident at around 3.20am and later seen arriving in the St Pauls area of Bristol.

Police are also looking for a group of individuals who were seen walking towards the Chequers Road area of Gloucester at around the time of the incident - 3.20am.

We are urgently appealing for assistance in identifying and locating these two vehicles and the group of individuals.   We have over 100 officers working around the clock since Sunday morning plus officers from Avon & Somerset Constabulary and we are grateful for any assistance the public can give us to bring those responsible for Dolton’s death to justice.”
