HOSTED by poet and comedian Jonny Fluffypunk, Mr Fluffypunk's Penny Gaff brings to Stroud some of the best, quirkiest and most interesting performers from the UK’s comedy, spoken word and alternative cabaret scenes.
September's show, which takes place at SVA, John Street, on Friday, September 18, features the childlike surrealism of comedian / poet Rob Auton, bringing The Water Show straight from a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Also hot from Edinburgh is the delightful eccentric Shaun Buswell, with an excerpt from Shaun's Random Orchestral Challenges, the story of Shaun's attempts to form orchestras from strangers he meets in the street.
There's also a set from local poet Adam Horovitz, plus a dose of misery from regular 'doom-poet' Bill Jones. With DJs til late, silly competitions and possibly a film or two.
Where: SVA, John Street, Stroud.
When: Friday 18th Sept. Doors 8.00pm Cost: £10 adv / £8.00 door
