TEENAGER and 50-year-old man assaulted by burglars outside their home in Cam.

Police are still seeking information about an assault and burglary that occurred in Springhill, Cam, on Saturday, September 19.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight when two people were assaulted outside their home.

A 50 year old man standing on the driveway was punched and a 15-year-old male received a grazed leg as he was getting out of a car and was hit by the family’s Mondeo being driven by the suspects.

The 50 year old victim punched in the face received lacerations and swelling.

The two suspects drove away in the Ford Mondeo, after hitting the other car and a garden wall. The Mondeo was later recovered.

Additionally the house was broken into, using a plant pot to smash a window. The rooms were searched and a car key stolen to drive away in the victims’ car before it was recovered. A Lenovo laptop was stolen worth several hundred pounds.

A neighbour reported being punched in their driveway at about the same time before the offender got back in a car and departed.

One of the offenders is described as being a white man, aged between 18 and 26, with short black hair, 5’ 10”, brownish eyes, facial stubble, wearing dark jogging bottoms and a grey or black t-shirt.
