MR FLUFFYPUNK’S Penny Gaff returns to SVA on Saturday night.
Hosted by poet and comedian Jonny Fluffypunk, this evening of alternative cabaret features sets from John Osborne and Molly Naylor.
Creators of celebrated solo poetry and theatre shows, John and Molly both fuse kitchen-sink poetry with poignant, gentle comedy. Think Alan Bennett with a better record collection.
Also on the bill is chansonnier Steve Lake, an impassioned poet-singer of bittersweet torch songs and wine-drenched tales of loss and longing, which have earned him the title of ‘The Jacques Brel of Bath’.
Miserable Malcolm Jones joins the line-up, adding a dose of leaves-dying, skies-turning-grey, woodland-animals-beginning-to-starve bonhomie.
Plus DJs till late, silly competitions and possibly a film or two.
Starts at 8pm.
