PEOPLE are encouraged to attend a coffee morning in Falfield to raise funds for St Peter's Hospice.
The Severnside Support Group of the hospice is hosting the event this weekend in Falfield Village Hall to support the charity.
Stalls, bring-and-buy tables and a raffle will be on offer as well as tea, coffee and cake.
Chairman of the group Kath Burgess, who is based in Thornbury, said: "Come along and browse our lovely selection of Christmas cards, make some early purchases of gifts from our craft stall, and treat yourself to some homemade cakes, crumbles and jams.
"There will be a large selection of books to choose from and good raffle prizes on offer. All of this and a delicious cup of tea/coffee and slice of cake, what better way to spend a Saturday morning."
The coffee morning takes place on Saturday (October 17) from 10am to 12pm.
Money raised will support people with life-limiting illnesses and their families at the Bristol-based hospice.
