Thornbury in Bloom volunteers celebrating the town's Britain in Bloom Southwest Gold award earlier this month
GREEN-FINGERED helpers are encouraged to join Thornbury in Bloom’s planting session this weekend to increase the town’s display of spring bulbs.
The group said: "Please meet at the rear of Thornbury Garden Shop armed with a spade or other planting implement.
“We usually have good fun and seeing the fruits of your labour next spring is always worthwhile, so come and join us.”
The session takes place on Saturday (October 24) at 2pm.
