ORI Hellerstein, the man behind Cotswolds business The Artisan Baker, will host two exclusive book signings at Gloucester Services in December, to mark the launch of his eponymous new book.

The award-winning baker is set to reveal his secrets to baking great loaves in the much anticipated book ‘The Artisan Baker,’ and will be visiting Gloucester Services to talk bread to travellers and foodies alike.

Established in early 2012, The Artisan Baker is the brainchild of experienced Pastry Chef, Ori Hellerstein. Originally from Israel, following training at Le Cordon Bleu and jobs in some of London’s finest restaurants, Ori relocated in 2012, fulfilling his dream of opening The Artisan Baker in the heart of the Cotswolds.

“We love working with Ori because he creates unique and exceptional products such as the Nelson Loaf which adds interest and delight to what we offer,” said Local Sourcing Manager Nicky Wildin.

“The Nelson Loaf was a real success story for us. A South African recipe, it is named after Nelson Mandela and is made from 80% seeds.”

The Artisan Baker will be at Gloucester Services Northbound on Monday 7th December Northbound between 11am and 2pm and the following Monday 14th December between 11am and 2pm at Southbound. Both events are free to attend.

Gloucester Services, which opened in May 2014, was created in partnership with a social regeneration charity, the Gloucestershire Gateway Trust. The sister project of its Northern counterpart, Gloucester is dedicated to of local food, farming and community. The £40 million project employs 300 people in the local area and will redistribute an estimated £10 million over 20 years back into local Gloucestershire charitable community projects.

The Southbound arm to the Services opened on May 19th 2015.
