PENARTH Operatic and Dramatic Society needs the help of Penarth to help them locate their mislaid star before a number of important events.

PODS are hoping Tarzan will be returned to the stage of the Paget Rooms in time for their opening night of their hilarious pantomime of Thursday, December 3.

Tarzan is described as being over six foot tall with unkempt brown hair and an unusual gait which has been put down to the fact that he has been brought up by a family of apes. PODS are very concerned as the last time he was seen he was wearing only a loin-cloth which is unsuitable for the recent cold weather. His best friend, Cheetah, is so upset by his disappearance that he has not eaten a banana in days.

After a number of possible sightings reported there are strong rumours that he might reappear in the Penarth Christmas Parade at 3pm on Sunday, November 29. Anyone seeing him there is asked to direct him immediately towards the Paget Rooms.

Everyone is invited to find out whether Tarzan is found safe and well by coming to the Paget Rooms at 7.30pm on Thursday or Friday night. At those times it is hoped that Tarzan will welcome you and send you on a magical journey through the jungle.

You will discover whether the hero can save the village and win the girl, all wrapped up in a traditional family pantomime with all the music and comedy you have come to expect.

Tickets for Tarzan are available from Tenovus, Windsor Road, from pods-penarth.org or call 029 2071 2260. Tickets cost £9 for adults, £8 for concessions and £7 for children but hurry tickets are selling fast.

Everyone at PODS is grateful for your help in locating their leading-man and hope that you join them in celebrating his return.
