AN APPEAL for witnesses has been launched after a high value theft of fuel in Lydbrook.

Between 5pm on Thursday 26 November and 8am on Friday 27 November, offenders forced entry to a compound and stole a yellow coloured fuel bowser, which contained around £1,000 worth of red diesel fuel.

The bowser, pictured, is then believed to have been towed away from the scene.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity, or knows of the whereabouts of the bowser should call police on 101 quoting incident 112 of Friday 27 November.
