POLICE are appealing for information after a pedestrian was injured following a collision in Cheltenham just before New Year.
The incident happened at around 7.50pm on Wednesday December 30, on Swindon Road close to the Holiday Inn Express hotel.
The pedestrian, a 34-year-old man was struck by a silver BMW 3 series car. The pedestrian suffered injuries to his head and back as a result of the collision and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal hospital for treatment. The driver of the BMW is helping officers with their enquiries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident. Anyone who can provide information should contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 396 of December 30.
