30 cows removed from the A38 near Stone overnight
THIRTY cows were spotted wandering along the A38 near Stone last night prompting calls to the police.
Police were called shortly before 2am to the cows, in two groups, on the A38 between junction 14 of the M5 and Newport.
The farmer was located by police and the cows were cleared by 3am.
