A 23-YEAR-OLD woman from Gloucester has been bailed by police following a collision on the A38 at Claypits that resulted in the death of Sue Colcombe, 81, of Frampton-on-Severn.
Ms Colcombe, who is understood to have lived with her son in Oatfield Road, Frampton, was hit by a car on the A38 near Eastington at around 11.50am.
She was taken to hospital but died of her injuries.
She was hit by a Suzuki Swift as she was crossing the road with her bike.
The driver of the car, a 23-year-old woman from Gloucester, was arrested on suspicion of driving over the drug limit.
It was revealed this morning that the woman has not been formally charged by police, but bailed pending further inquiries until July 14.
